My Dogs

Harry Meg
finn
Breac Finn
Coire Elsie

I must introduce my dogs. Harry - 5 years old, black and white border collie. Coire (pronounced Corry) a 15 month old tricolour blue merle (she is tan, white and mottled blue/grey/black - very pretty!).

Also Elsie - a red tricolour bitch and Breac - a slate merle tricolour dog.  My kennel is becoming more colourful! To get a bit of a head start in competitive sheep dog trialling I bought Meg, a lovely, fully trained bitch.  I am looking forward to having fun trialling her.

Sadly missed is Rose - only with me a short time but I learned so much from her and loved her spirit and attitude.  I also rehomed Sally after being approached some parents of a friend who offered her a fabulous home.

Most recent arrival is Finn - a young dog I found hard to resist!

The more observant among you will have noticed the spelling difference between Coire the dog and Cories the kennel.  The spelling Coire is the original and preferred spelling, but all the litters I have bred have been registered with the Kennel Club alone.  The Kennel Club, in their wisdom, changed the spelling of my mum's kennelname after it had already been accepted by the ISDS and she had used it with them.  So when she registers ISDS litters she registers them Coires and when they are KC only, they are Cories.  ISDS don't allow shared kennelnames so I don't have an ISDS kennelname!  Still confused?  I'm not surprised!  You can visit my mum's website here.
