Pups have now moved into the stable - AKA puppy paradise!
Toys
all around, mini kennel and beds so they can play at being grown up
dogs. No wonder they wouldn't come outside into that dazzling
sunshine to play on the lawn!
Cute shot of the week - Quiz and 2Spot in their puppy bed looking so
sweet and innocent. Don't believe it for a minute!

Also have a look at Bob playing with a tuggy, he was at it for ages!

Bob is by far the most active and adventurous of the puppies, he is a
real livewire and everyone who comes to see the pups agrees.

Cute by name....

how gorgeous am I?

Cute has a lovely home where he will be doing agility.
Ace's nose is starting to blacken up

He is a very bold and playful little pup. Ace also has a
wonderful home waiting for him where he will be doing agility.
Quiz is starting to develop a sweet and mischievous personality.

Unfortunately for her, she looks like her dad! Quiz is
staying
with me at Cories and will be a sheepdog like her parents.
Swan is to be called Flynt. Perhaps
Lawrence (Llewellyn-Bowen) would be more suitable as he seems keen on
interior
(re) design - preferring frills and flounces rather than smooth edges
on his dog bed.....

Swan has a lovely home waiting for him where he will be doing sheepwork
and possibly dabbling in agility.
Whitie has a bold, outgoing and friendly character. We have
now
found an absolutely lovely home for him. He is going to be
called
Spook.

His new owners will be doing agility with him.
2 Spot has become an extremely pretty little pup. She has a
very
sweet personality and reminds me a lot of her mum.

She likes to give herself pedicures! 2 Spot has now found a
home.
In contrast 3 Spot is not a girly girl at all! She is quite a
tomboy and is one of the most outgoing and bold of the puppies.

I think she is wonderful. 3Spot has a home.
Pups went outside for their photos this week! Bit of a shock
for
some of them, but not for Bob and 3 spot who've been plotting to get
out of the door for days....
Breac also met his children for the first time - I think he looks
slightly shocked to be told they are ALL his kids!

3Spot soon wins him over with a kiss!

Older
Photos...
Still very pleased with the progress of this litter. We had a
few
people come and see them last weekend, as a result most of the puppies
now have pretty definite homes....

Not a care in the world, unlike poor Meg, who is worn out..

Bob
This week's little star, he has had a song written for him, by
Charlotte and her friend, inspired by his love of rice pudding.
I
can wait to hear it. Sorry I mean I CAN'T wait to hear it..!

Bob gets bored with his siblings, and asks Charlotte for a
cuddle...

What Bob wants, it seems Bob gets....

"Hmm do you taste of rice pudding?"

Sleepy now. We will need to frisk Charlotte before she goes
home
to make sure she hasn't hidden Bob away in a pocket...!
What I keep forgetting to say about Bob is that he was examined by a
vet soon after he was born, and the vet pronounced him healthy and
normal and has certified him as 'naturally tail-free'.
3
Spot
has emerged as
being a bit of a character, as well as being photogenic. She
prefers meat to rice pudding.
Particularly fresh meat still on the bone...!

"Who, me?"

"Zzzzz"

"Look at me I'm a cutie"
(Half)
Whitehead is
still looking colourful, and may have found a home..! He can
do
an impression of Mutley "Heheheheheh"

And can scratch that itch.

All that activity can make a boy sleepy...

Spot

Somehow I only managed to get one photo of Spot this week, she's very
pretty though!
Swan
Swan was a little skinny when the litter were very young, but now the
meat and rice pudding is plentiful, he's catching up.

But all that growing requires lots of sleeping....

And even more sleeping!

Swan has a home, but not yet grown up name, so we will still call him
Swan for now!
Cute
Cute won the heart of a few people, but we are now
certain where he will be going....

He even has his own toy! He does generously share it amongst
the
whole of the litter though. A little birdy tells me that the
whole litter now have lots of toys, thanks to Mum, Charlotte, Paige and
a trip to the car boot sale...

Ace
Ace will need to learn to dance....

He doesn't look too thrilled at the prospect - what a strange
expression!

Don't worry Ace, just you go back to sleep!
And last but certainly not least - Tictactoe - maybe called Quiz

Life
is hard being so gorgeous...

People
keep waking you up to have your photo taken!
Past Photos...
of
the pups on a smart tartan background.
Spot

She is developing lovely dark pigmentation, should have good hard feet!
Such a very flashily marked dog, without too much white, she
will
be very striking. You can see she is getting spotty feet, she
will
probably get lots more of those spots, should look lovely!

Bob

Aw bless little Bob, he will be a
handsome chap and he could be custom made for someone..... apparently
in the States where there are such things as professional frisbee dogs,
their owners dock their tails for some reason. I don't know
what
advantage it gives, but there must be something! Anyway, if
you
wanted to take up professional frisbee, Bob's your dog!

3Spot has generated some interest, I would like her to go to a
working home if
possible.

3Spot has developed her black pigmentation very quickly -including on
the roof of her mouth (as she is so kindly showing in the photo below -
yawning not screaming I might add!), I think she will have quite a few
spots on her legs or nose, like her mum, but she won't be heavily
mottled.

Whitehead going to be such a handsome dog for a
split face fan!

Am I doing him a disservice by calling him Whitehead? As you
can
see
he does have some facial marking, and he will be pigmented around the
other eye so there should be no problems with sunburn. He is
so
boldly marked, and his merling has an unusual reddish tone. I
think he is just stunning, and if I was in the market for a dog he
might well be the one I was keeping.

Whitestripe

Whitestripe is very popular, and although we haven't definitely decided
who is having him, he should definitely have a home. What a
gorgeous boy he is!

Swan probably has a home...

Someone cannot make up their mind between Swan and 3spot. I
can't
help them - either would be a lovely choice and should give them the
working dog they are looking for! If they decide to go for 3
Spot, we do have an abundance of people after blue merle dogs, so he
should have a home....

Bluespot

Bluespot is the most popular pup, we have had the most enquiries for
him out of all the pups. Whichever home he goes to, we think
he
is destined to be a talented boy!

TicTacToe

I haven't changed my mind (why is it so hard for other people LOL)
she's staying. What a gorgeous girl she is, and obviously she
is
the cleverest - she already has one eye open and can spot where Meg is
and motor across the basket to get in first for a feed.
Attagirl!

I'll let you into a secret - even if she looked like the back end of a
bus she'd be staying - I am just lucky that the only merle girl in the
litter happens to be pretty, precocious and perfect for me!
Oh
look, I've put ANOTHER photo in of her - could she be my favourite?

Past photos for comparison.....

Here are the pups at 3 days old, looking very fat and glossy - Meg is
doing a great job with them. In the foreground is Whitehead -
like his dad he has his tongue sticking out and he obviously thought
that brown blob of something was a tasty morsel to save until later!

I employed myself a puppy wrangler when I took these pictures, (thanks
Charlotte) so we managed to get them in roughly the right position!
Whitehead - Blue merle tricolour dog. As you can see he is
not
actually fully whiteheaded. He is going to be a very
colourful
dog, with rich tan patches and bold black patches, very striking indeed!

Whitestripe. Blue merle tricolour dog. He is
stunning, very
flashy white markings and even merling. The white stripe will
probably disappear as he gets older.

Swan - blue merle tricolour dog, named because of his long and graceful
neck. He has darker merling which is very even, and his white
markings are classic.

Bluespot - blue merle tricolour dog. Yet another stunning dog
with a huge white ruff and classic facial markings, he is my favourite
of the blue merle dogs - at the moment!

Tictactoe - blue merle tricolour bitch. What can I say, she's
stunning, she's staying!

Spot. Black tricolour bitch. Should be called two spot
actually!
I think she should be called Darth because she has a Dark
Side...
Stunning markings, massive white ruff will make her a very
handsome girl.

Three spot - Black tricolour bitch. Her spots will probably
merge
on top of her head as she gets older. She is beautiful, and I
am
delighted that she may be going to a working home. Should be
a
cracking bitch.

And last, but by no means least.......
BOB! Black tricolour dog, naturally docked. Again a
beautifully marked, very flashy dog, he will be sure to attract a lot
of attention!
